Enrolling at West East Institute (now part of Fountain of Excellency College), he pursued a Bachelor’s Degree in Information and Communication Technology, quickly distinguishing himself as a brilliant and highly motivated student.
By the time he entered his second year, Joseph was already setting trends and exceeding expectations. His groundbreaking innovation, a custom-built calculator application, was not only a technical success but also earned him widespread praise from faculty and peers alike. The announcement of his invention by Principal Professor Sakamona Innocent in 2022 made waves across the campus, showcasing Joseph’s exceptional blend of creativity and academic excellence.

📢 Publicity Secretary (2022) – A role he carried out with excellence, earning him the Best Unionist Award of the year.
🏛 WEISU President (2023) – As president, Joseph led with transparency, innovation, and inclusiveness, initiating student-driven projects and enhancing student engagement in Extracular Programs.

Graduation and Professional Journey
After completing his Bachelor’s Degree in Information and Communication Technology in 2024, Joseph Muyumba continued to build on his legacy. He is set to officially graduate on 11 November 2025, joining the long list of accomplished alumni from Fountain of Excellency College.
Currently, Joseph serves as an IT Officer at Fountain of Excellency College, where he contributes his skills in systems management, software development, and digital communications. He is seen not only as a technical asset to the institution but also as an inspiration to current students who look up to his journey from student to professional.
